Udharaa

Samip Thakkar is an India-born entrepreneur who spent ~15 years in Canada growing a performance marketing company before returning to Ahmedabad to launch Udharaa—a curated startup–investor introduction marketplace. Udharaa is built on a simple idea: fundraising should be efficient, compliant, and trust-driven. The platform verifies investor profiles, curates startup listings, and provides a structured, time-stamped messaging flow so both sides can evaluate opportunities clearly. Udharaa does not provide investment advice or operate as a SEBI-registered AIF; instead, it focuses on compliant introductions, optional due-diligence support via partners, and transparent, capped introductory fees. Samip’s goal is to make it easier for credible founders across India to access capital while giving accredited/HNI investors cleaner deal discovery. He believes this model can unlock entrepreneurship at scale and, ultimately, broader economic growth.
