We tried a lot of tallow balms before we started Harvest & Herd. They all had the same pitch: "tallow is incredible for your skin." And they're right. It is. But the products themselves? Greasy, grainy, or smelled like a kitchen. You shouldn't have to talk yourself into using your own skincare.
So we built something better. We spent months testing ingredient ratios, sourcing grass-fed tallow, and dialing in a texture that actually feels good on your face. Not waxy. Not oily. Just smooth.
The scent was the other half of the problem. Most tallow balms either lean into the barnyard smell or try to mask it with something overpowering. Ours smells like a fresh orange because that's what we wanted to reach for every morning.
We manufacture in California using 100% solar power and distribute from our solar-powered, climate-controlled facility in Illinois. Better for consistency, better for shipping times across the US.
