About
George Koletas didn’t take shortcuts to get where he is today. His career in the electrical trade began 15+ years ago. He joined IBEW Local 236 more than 13 years ago and entered the Tri-City Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee (JATC) — a rigorous, nationally recognized training program co-sponsored by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) and the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA).
Over five years of apprenticeship, George completed thousands of hours of on-the-job training under the supervision of experienced journeyman and master electricians, paired with hundreds of hours of classroom instruction covering everything from National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements to advanced electrical theory, blueprint reading, and safety protocols. This combination of hands-on fieldwork and formal education is what separates IBEW-trained electricians from the rest of the industry.
