Sorafenib is an oral targeted cancer therapy used to treat: Liver cancer (Hepatocellular carcinoma) Advanced kidney cancer (Renal cell carcinoma) Thyroid cancer (Radioactive iodine-resistant differentiated thyroid cancer) How It Works: Sorafenib blocks proteins (kinases) that help cancer cells grow and form blood vessels. By doing this, it slows down tumor growth and limits blood supply to the tumor. Dosage: Typically 400 mg twice daily (taken on an empty stomach).
