Welcome to Maddox Special Education Advocacy! I’m Lisa Maddox, a paralegal and special education advocate focusing on helping families navigate the world of special education while ensuring your child’s rights are being preserved. My passion for special education began in 2012 when I secured my first job as a paralegal with an attorney practicing education law. I spent the next three years in that position learning the ins and outs of special education law. Those years coupled with my additional years as a family law paralegal taught me many of the skills I continue to use today to be an effective advocate.
