How do you know if you need a mold inspection? There are many cases in which a mold inspection is necessary. You could be noticing an odor that you can’t identify or notice an area that appears to have mold growth. Most inspection requests are made after discovery of water intrusion, whether it’s a plumbing leak or a roof leak. Some may say that Southern California does not get enough rain for mold to be an issue, but whether it rains a little or a lot, any amount of water intrusion can cause serious damage and cause mold growth.
