Spinal Tumors

Description

A spinal cord tumor is an abnormal growth of cells within the spinal cord or surrounding structures. These tumors can be benign or malignant, disrupting the normal functioning of the spinal cord. The primary spinal tumour arise from the spinal cord, its surrounding coverings or the bony spinal column. Meningioma and neurofibroma are the commonest benign tumors of spine.
