Date palm

Date palm (Phoenix dactylifera) is a tall, stately palm tree that belongs to the Arecaceae family. It is renowned for its delicious fruit called dates, which have been cultivated and consumed for thousands of years. The date palm is native to the Middle East and North Africa, where it thrives in warm, arid climates. The tree features a single trunk that can reach heights of up to 80 feet (24 meters) and is topped with a crown of large, feathery leaves that can grow up to 20 feet (6 meters) in length.
