High Alumina Fire Bricks

Refractory bricks with a high percentage of alumina (Al2O3), typically between 45% and over 90%, are known as high alumina fire bricks. The brick's performance at high temperatures improves with increasing alumina content. Alumina can be compared to the foundation of a brick. The strength of the backbone determines how much heat, pressure, and chemical attack it can withstand before failing.
