Compression socks are medical graded stockings designed to help prevent venous disorders such as edema, thrombosis, varicose veins, leg pain, and leg fatigue. They are specially made from a snug-fitting and stretching material that lightly compresses the leg. Compression stockings are tighter around the ankle and get looser as they move up to the leg.
