Colour Doppler

Color Doppler is an advanced ultrasound technique that visualizes blood flow through vessels and heart chambers in real-time, using color coding to indicate the direction and speed of the flow. This Color Doppler technology enhances the standard Doppler ultrasound by adding color to help differentiate blood flow direction: typically, red indicates blood flowing towards the ultrasound probe and blue indicates blood flowing away. This color-coding helps physicians assess the velocity and characteristics of blood flow in a specific area, making it easier to identify irregularities.
