The plucking is followed by rapid transfer to the processing centres and classification of blades. The storage and fermentation are the next steps. The fermented blades are then supplied to their respective cigar manufacturers where they are transformed into fillers, wrappers and binders. These are then supplied to skilled craftsmen to take the shape of sticks.
